Thoughts on Religion

Religion was created to control and create fear in society. To control minds into believing if you live life according to GOD you will be repaid with a magnificent after-life. If you live your life doing "evil" you will spend eternity in a place called Hell.

Religion was created by the elite. It was designed as a deterrent to stop free willed people from living their lives as they chose. To control people into living life by the rules set forth by the elite. To place fear in peoples minds'.

Creating religion was useful for both reasons; for conformity and to give people something to believe in, to look forward to. If people had something to look forward to after death, they'd work hard and live quietly. Religion gave people hopes of something more. A purpose for living.

Before religion people had no reason to conform. They had no reason to do good towards mankind. With nothing to look forward to, the people were unruly. Thus making life a miserable place for the conformist.
